How does the reasonable adjustment work?

We ensure that the right kind of adjustment is applied where it is necessary to provide a fairer reflection of your qualities. The reasonable adjustments applied are either scoring adjustments, extended time (only if you are completing an aptitude assessment), or a combination of both depending on your specific disability/neurodiversity.

These adjustments have been established based on our own research, scientific evidence in the wider literature, and reasonable adjustment best practice standards.

To make sure you’re always getting the fairest shot, we’ve had these adjustments extensively validated using three data sources:

  • Data from live candidates like yourself
  • Data from research participants
  • Reviews of scientific literature

As a reminder, we need to know if you require a reasonable adjustment before you start the assessment. To discuss any adjustments you might need, simply follow the instructions in your invitation email.
